Shrink capsule

A shrink capsule (shrink cap) or the well–established designation TUK is a package designed to enhance the sealing performance of corks for alcoholic beverage bottles. The technology of using shrink capsules consists in the property of the polymer film, when heated, it becomes elastic and takes the shape of a bottle corolla. Thus, the TUK ideally takes the shape of a bottle neck of various design and technological solutions, while reliably fixing the cork. Thanks to this, capsules have become widely used for capping wine, cognac and vodka bottles.

Design of the side surface of the shrink capsule

We have the technology to decorate the capsule skirt:
- flexo printing to reproduce the entire variety of colors;
- gravure printing to give bright and saturated colors;
- hot and cold stamping to create a metallized effect;
- creating the effect of velvet (satin).
